Benjamin Boo
Benjamin Boo has been recognized as one of Singapore's most talented child prodigies. His jazzy and unique improvisations have taken him in many different directions, forging a distinct style and establishing a rare reputation. An adept at the art of improvisation, Benjamin is able to re-create his own arrangement to any music piece he plays. At the young age of 11, Benjamin had already produced 3 albums, "Pop On Ivories", "Classical On Ivories" and "Benji Boogie Boo", leaving his mark as one of Singapore's most outstanding talents.
Benjamin has been performing since the age of 7 and has been branded by the local media as Singapore's very own "wunderkind", child prodigy in German. Benjamin was invited to perform at Richard Clayderman's sell-out concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium and was Singapore's youngest and first accomplished pianist to accompany the overseas award winning Yodogawa Technical High School Band. At just 13 years of age, Benjamin made his debut on the international stage, holding a solo concert at the Meralco Theater, Phillipines.
Benjamin is no stranger to the local music scene and has starred in popular charitable events such as "The NKF Children's Medical Fund Charity Show" and “The Straits Times Pocket Money Fund”. He has played alongside musical legends such as Donne Ray, Kevin Kern & Victor Gaskin. Benjamin has also performed as the resident pianist at renowned 5 star hotels in Singapore such as The Goodwood Park Hotel, Marina Mandarin Singapore, The Orchard Hotel and The Fullerton Bay Hotel. As of recent, Benjamin was also the Music Director for the Asian TV Awards 2012 performance band.
