Benny Ong
Learning to play the guitar at the age of 16 he went on stage the first time at the age of 18 playing covers for charity events and local music scenes. Benny enjoyed a brief stint in the mandarin music industry by joining Channel U’s 1st Superband competition and eventually reaching the semi-finals with his band Man Tou.
The competition opened doors for him and he started playing music for a living.
Benny has also continued writing songs and performing his originals at venues such as Mosaic Music Festival and also teaching guitar while upgrading himself with exams.
