Ywenna Carollin

Ywenna Carollin a Singapore based jazz pianist and vocalist born in Indonesia and grew up in Malaysia. She actively performs at various jazz venues in Malaysia and Indonesia. She is a regular performer at various jazz festivals, private event launches, awards, weddings, hotels and etc.

She displays a gutsy versatility in several genres of music and has shared stage with some of the well-known artists.

In October 2009, Ywenna released the debut album “The Naked Soul” with her band Tokyo Blue - her own jazz instrumental band where she proved herself as composer/arranger/pianist. Ywenna has been touring with the group ever since in Southeast Asia, China, Korea, Nepal, Australia and Africa.

Her second jazz instrumental album “ Monochrome Rainbow’ has just been released in November 2012 at Singapore Esplanade.

Performance Experience:

• Performance for festival (E.g Swan Festival of Lights, PERTH Australia, Shanghai World Expo China, Ulsan World Music Festival Korea).
• Resident Pianist & Vocalist at Wine Bar and St. James Power Station.
